Gilbert, George Russell

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the age of 84, surrounded by his wife and children.

Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Byrne) for over 62 years. Loving father of Brad (Provi), Jeff (Mandy), Mike and Debbie (Chris). Cherished grandpa of Matthew, Adam, Scotty, Timmy, Carter, Parker and Payson. Dear brother of Gloria (Jim) and Sherry (John). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

George worked hard all his life for his family. He loved gardening and wine making but he especially loved his grandchildren.

Funeral Visitation at Windsor Chapel, Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Monday, March 21st from 5-8 pm. Funeral Service in the chapel on Tuesday, March 22 at 11am. Cremation to follow at Windsor Crematorium.
