Verna was a lovely person and a wonderful neighbour and my daughter and I were so very sad to hear that she has passed away. I used to loved our “over-the-fence” conversations while we each tended to our gardens. And whenever she spied the coyotes in the back area, she would always call to make sure our dog wouldn’t be harmed. And I’ll always remember when she welcomed us to the neighbourhood in 2007 with a bottle of her homemade wine. It was such a sweet and memorable gesture. We will miss her! Our deepest condolences to her sister, step children and their families. May she Rest In Peace.
