Obituary of Neileen Theresa Rowland

Neileen Rowland (nee Mulvaney)

May 9, 1937 - March 15, 2022

Passed away peacefully with her children by her side on March 15, 2022, reunited with the love of her life Ken Rowland (2016). Loving Mother of Ken and wife Kim, Kevin and wife Ghislaine, Korry and wife Debbie, Keith, Rebecca Maguire. Cherished grandmother of Erin, Samantha, Mitchell, Jordan, Scotty, Nicholas, Felicia, Kristina, Dalton, and Ashley. Adored great grandmother of Kallia, Theodore, Charlie and Blake . Predeceased by her loving parents Neil and Hazel Mulvaney.  Dear Sister of Larry Mulvaney (Carol), Sharon Janisse (Rudy) and the late Albemy 2006, Len Mulvaney (Pat) and Diane Pastorius (Tom) and the late Gerry Pastorius (1993).  Neileen will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She graduated from Hotel Dieu School of Nursing, she worked as a nurse until she started her family, her focus was on her 5 children. Once they had grown, she began working at Sears department store and later she retired from the University of Windsor Education Library. Neileen was a long-time member of the LA Sertoma Club and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending time with her former nursing classmates. In addition, Neileen was very skilled having spent many years creating beautiful works of art with her longtime friend Geraldine. She enjoyed many years of golfing and traveling with her husband and family. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road East 519-253-7234 on Friday March 18, 2022 from 7pm -9pm. A chapel service will take place on Saturday March 19, 2022 at 11am. Cremation to Follow.    Charitable donations may be made in Neileen’s memory to the Windsor-Essex Humane Society.
