Joan and I worked together at University Health Center, Detroit 30 years ago. She saved my husband's life. He was experiencing blood in his urine and she strongly advised us to see a specialist urologist who diagnosed bladder cancer. Because of her, the cancer was diagnosed early enough that John is still living having spend 30 more years at his profession as a Lutheran pastor and more important as father, grandfather, great grandfather to a loving family. Thank you Joan. I will miss your yearly Christmas cards full of tales of your beautiful family and life together with Ted. Until we meet again dear friend, I will never forget you. Ted (aka Cliff), Colette, Andy and Amy, Sending condolences from North Bay to you and your extended family. We would have liked to be there today in person with my Mom (Aunt Ruth) however time, distance and Covid risk kept us from traveling. I have fond memories of spending time with cousin Joan.
