Obituary of Mario Iacobelli

IACOBELLI, Mario

February 3, 1935 – March 13, 2022

Passed away suddenly and peacefully on March 13, 2022 at the age of 87.  Cherished father of Sandra (Alec) Anderson and  Paul (Sandy) Iacobelli.  Proud Nonno of Aiden, Owen, and Mya.  He is survived by his wife Liliana and his brother Luigi (Laura).  Mario was born in Casalvieri, Italy to the late Onorio and Elisa Iacobelli.  He is predeceased by his siblings Assunta, Armando, and Gina.  Mario retired from Chrysler Canada after 28 years.  He enjoyed spending his spare time listening to and playing classical music and Italian opera, playing the accordion, gardening and spending time with his family.  As per Mario’s wishes, a private family service will take place.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Mario's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
