Olivito, Saverio “Sam”
    Passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022 with his loving family by his side at 69 years of age. Adored husband of Pina (nee Ventura) having shared 46 years of marriage together. Proud father of daughter Caterina “Cathy” Olivito (Andrew Shultz), son Antonio Olivito (Matthew Hill) ,cherished granddaughter and “Nonno’s baby” Alanah Trudell. Survived by his many brothers, sisters and in-laws from the Olivito and Ventura families. Sam was also a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. His passion for making homemade wine, hunting, fishing, and gardening will never be forgotten. Sam was a dedicated employee of Chrysler Canada for 35 years, as well as being a loyal member of the Giovanni Caboto Club for 35 years. He will be sadly missed, never forgotten and always have a place in our hearts. Friends will be received at Windsor Chapel South Location (3048 Dougall Ave (519)253-7234 ) on Sunday March 13, 2022 from 5-8pm. Masks are required to attend the visitation, funeral mass and cemetery. Funeral service on Monday March 14, 2022 from the funeral home at 9:45am going to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (804 Grand Marais Road East) for funeral mass at 10:30am.
