Obituary of Isabella Ruzza

Isabella Ruzza (Marzulli)

January 11, 1926 – March 1, 2022 

With very heavy hearts, we regret to announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Isabella Ruzza. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Ennio (1993). Isabella was the precious and devoted mother of the late Loretta D’Agnillo (Ermete), Annalisa Rossi (late Valentino), Leda Kobrosly (Adnan) and Gina Meo (Raffaele). She was the most loving Nonna of Daniela, Johnny & Natalie, Tania & Joe, David & Gina, Mark & Amy, Nadia & Mohamed, Deanna & Shah, Adam & Jessica, Melisa & Mike, Anthony & Elisa, Annemarie & Paul and the dearest ‘Nonna Isa’ of 20 great-grandchildren, Alana, Olivia, Michael, Julia, Marco, Matthew, Johnny, Anthony, Layelle, Gabriel, Laila, Malik, Giuliana, Christian, Oliver, Isabella, Cameela, Luca, Benjamin, and Eva. 

Isabella was the daughter of the late Gaetano & Giovanna Marzulli. She is predeceased by her siblings Lorenzo, Andrea, Arcangelo, Maria and Anna. She is also predeceased by her parents-in-law Gaetano and Emma Ruzza, sisters and brothers-in-law Ennia & Antonio Viale, Anna & Alessandro Mauro, Leda & Marco Fossati and Sergio & Tina Ruzza.  

Isabella is survived by one brother in Italy, Ignazio Marzulli. Many, many special loving nieces, nephews, and family friends (In Canada and Italy) remain to remember Zia Isa. Isabella sacrificed enormously for her family, which was the centre of her world. She embodied love and generosity and enjoyed immensely preparing meals for everyone. Thank you to her special “angels” at Richmond Terrace for lovingly taking care of our wonderful Isabella.  

We will never forget you and as mamma always said “I love everybody.” 

Visitation at Windsor Chapel (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 4:30pm. Family and friends will be received for the Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd.) on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 10:30am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Isabella may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
