Obituary of Adriano Bertoia
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adriano Bertoia. Devoted and caring husband to Luisa, cherished son to the late Ercole and the late Luigia, loving brother to Roberto (Lynn), cherished uncle to Monica (Taki), Natalie (Ben), Lara (Dan) and great-uncle to Norah and Dean. His dedication and devotion and unfounded love for his parents was inspirational. He will be greatly missed by his extended family in Canada, Italy and Colombia, and the hundreds of friends, he called family in Windsor.
Adriano retired as an electrician from Chrysler, where he dedicated 36 years of his career. He loved his job so much; he would often say he never worked a day in his life. He was an avid fitness enthusiast, a passionate cyclist and most recently, a fisherman. He believed in living life to the fullest with his soulmate, Luisa. He felt connected to water, often traveling to any destination with a beach or ocean. Even though he travelled to the most beautiful places in the world, Windsor was in his heart.
Adriano was a beautiful light and soul - an angel who walked this earth for too short a time. He had a gift to be able to see the essence of a person’s soul, and bring out the absolute best in them, with no expectations in return. He was well loved.
