BODNAR, Barbara, (nee Bukta)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother and Grandmother, Barbara Margaret Bodnar. She passed away peacefully at the age of 98.  Peaceful rest now for her tired body! She greatly missed her dear husband, Joseph, since his passing in 2007. Predeceased by her Mother and Father, Barbara and Kalman Bukta, and her sisters Elizabeth, Bernadette and brother, Gabriel. Loving mother of Rebekah (James Orr) and will be sadly missed by her dearly loved granddaughters Amanda (Craig) and Kimberley. Beloved Aunt to niece Rosanne, and nephews, great nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered for her love of cooking and gardening, and a strong dedication to her faith. The family wishes to express a special thank you to all the staff at Extendicare Southwood Lakes who helped care for Barbara. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
