Obituary of John Willard Morris

MORRIS, John Willard, Peacefully on February 19, 2022, in his 83rd year at home. Dearest husband to Diane his wife of 62 years. Sadly missed by his sons Mark (Cathy) and Greg. Predeceased by his son Mike (1979). Beloved grandfather to Jenn Howson (Aaron), Jocelyn Morris (Shawn), Samantha Asher (Steve), Jake Morris (Laura) and Rachel Fecteau (Chalen). Great grandpa to Griffin, Grace, Ethan, Christopher, Zachary, Miley, Henry, Jonas, Charlie, James, Benjamin, Rory, and Ryder John. Loving son of the late Willard (2003) and Gladys Morris (2003). Dear brother to Lois Matte and Terry (2009) and Dan Morris (2006) and his surviving wife Marion. John will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. John was the owner/manager of Carlton McGuire Sales and Service Essex and loved interacting with the farmers in Windsor Essex County. He was awarded numerous sales awards from Massey Ferguson and Great Plains for exceeding sales targets and assisting in the agricultural industry. He was a past president of the Essex Kinsmen Club. Dad loved the fellowship with this great group of community minded friends. He will also be missed by his McDonalds coffee buddies, his snowmobile pals from Dar’s dump, and everybody who knew him from his days at Home Hardware. Our family extends our thanks to the extraordinary love and care of the staff and management of Season’s retirement home in Lasalle.  Memorial Visiting at Windsor Chapel (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue, 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. A private family service will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the  Windsor/Essex County Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
