Obituary of Hla Shue
It is with sad and broken hearts that we announce the loss of our loving father Shue, Hla, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather on February 11, 2022 at the age of 77 peacefully, at home. Beloved husband to Bo Wah for 50 years and loving father to his 10 children Mu Hsay Wah, Kleh Kaw, Lah May, Wah Ler, Is Say, Wah Sha Htoo, Ka pawlay, Ro lupaw, August and Ta Dwepaw. He was adored by 23 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was born on February 8, 1945 at Kae Pa, Myanmar. Because of the Persecution and Civil War in Myanmar, he fled to a refugee camp in Thailand in 1995. He stayed at this camp for 10 years before he resettled to Canada on August 8, 2007. His passion for gardening was enjoyed by all family. He enjoyed making Karen harps and has mad over 20 Karen harps since he arrived to Windsor and distributed them to his children and grandchildren to keep the tradition. Shue had a big heart and was a family man. His faith was strong and always saved money to donate to people who needed it back in Myanmar. He was an amazing role model for the family.
It is a big loss for our family he will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the entire team at hospice and the home and community care service St. Elizabeth nurses (especially David) for their exceptional care and support.
