I am so sorry that I cannot be there today. I will miss visiting Aunt Mary and Uncle Fred, which happened too rarely, but I always eagerly anticipated! They always made you feel welcome and loved. I try to live up in some small way to the example of hospitality my godparents were. I still keep and treasure Aunt Mary's cards she filled with heartfelt messages for birthdays and holidays. Everyone in the family has always spoken so highly of them and they were deeply respected. What a tremendous loss. My sympathies go out to Christine and Fred and their families. --Lindsay

Mr. & Mrs. Staub were always warm and welcoming at their home or cottage. Always worked hard and had so many skills and talents. Every thing they did was always done perfectly. Contact me....when my ph changed, lost most of my contacts and never found you....I guess I was hoping you might call me so we could speak....I know that lots of changes have occurred everywhere, families etc....519 - 615 - 4867 still works...thks for the kind words..they really enjoyed you hanging around with me for so many years.......funny how time slips away from us all. Thks again.

Dear Christine, Kevin and family - so saddened to learn of the passing of your parents. I have many happy memories of your parents from the old Riverside neighbourhood. Your dad was always so tanned & youthful and dedicated to his gardens and your mom was always passionate about her baking offering homemade baked goods whenever I was over for a visit. Our condolences on your loss. Fred and Mary were lovely, kind people who were close friends to my parents. They met in Florida, at their condo complex and became fast friends. Mary was everyone’s Oma. I remember her playing with my son Max. Fred was a master storyteller who held court around the pool and dinner table. We thought of them often through the years.
