Obituary of Sharon Michelle Rossi
ROSSI, Sharon Michelle
November 6, 1947 – February 7, 2022
“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
Sharon will be greatly missed by beloved daughters Amanda Kanan (Paul) and Ghia Rossi. Adored by grandchildren Mia, William and Robert. Sharon lived her life as an entrepreneur. She was involved as a founding member of the Catholic Women’s League and was involved in many charity events. After retirement, she enjoyed her yearly trips to Fort Myers Beach, spending time with her beloved neighbors watching the freighters in the back yard and her monthly Wine Tasting Dinners, where she was known to enjoy the company more than the wine. Sharon was known as many things: Mother, Friend, Sister, Daughter but her most beloved designation was that of Baba to her three cherished grandchildren. She was known to drop everything to be with her grandchildren at every school function, recital, sports event, trip to Disney or Monster Truck Rally. She was the favorite babysitter, often living by the rule that “there are your rules and there are Baba’s rules”. She was their biggest cheerleader, always had a freezer full of ice cream and was always up for a trip to the Dollar Store. A special thank you to the loving care and friendship of Dr. David Sion. Sharon will be missed by her “family” of friends: Paul, Anthony, Scott and Darina, Judy and Larry, Sher, Vera, Hikmeta, Sharon and Brian, David & Philippa and family, Nancy & Kate and family. She will also be missed by her furry companion, Ginger. Memorial visiting at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7234 on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 12 – 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated at Pet and Wildlife Rescue (P.A.W.) of Chatham or Jazzpurr Society.
