PIUNNO, Rosa Maria (nee: Gargaro)

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 9, 2022, at the age of 79. Loving wife and soulmate to Domenico with whom she shared 60 years of beautiful marriage. Cherished mother to Marco, Linda, and Ernie (Susan). Proud Nonna to Daniela (Jason), Alexa (Ashley), Lauren, Jenna (Mike) and Christian. Treasured Bis-Nonna to Gabriella. Reunited with her parents, Ernesto and Angela, and in-laws, Antonio and Giuseppina. Dear sister to Yolanda (Alberico), Elena, Marisa (Bart), Lucy (Joe). Sister-in-law to the late Carmela (the late Cirillo), Lucia (the late Giovanni), Filiomena (the late Pietro), Giovannina (Nick), Arnaldo (Elba). Rosa will be missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was known for her amazing cooking. She loved celebrating life’s moments with her family, they were the most important to her.

Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road East 519-253-7234 on Sunday, February 13, 2022, from 4pm - 8pm. Funeral Mass at Most Precious Blood on Monday, February 14, 2022, at 10am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest. Reservations are required to attend visitation and funeral mass.
