Obituary of Michael Semus

SEMUS, Michael February 13, 1925 – January 30, 2022 

Passed away peacefully two weeks shy of his 97th birthday, surrounded by his children and grandchildren.  A dear husband to Joyce (nee Furkalo) for 67 years, father to Donna and David (Lisa), grandpa to Aerin (Remy), Mallie Leigh (Blake) and Brandon (Maryam), and new great-grandpa to Elle Scarlet.  Mike was a dedicated employee to Windsor’s automotive sector, spending his career at Auto Specialties and Chrysler.  Mike enjoyed the simple pleasures that life had to offer.  His favourite times were spent taking care of his yard, sitting in the sun with his Special Old, taking long walks through his neighbourhood of South Walkerville, as well as Ojibway Park (Yawkey Bush), and spending time with his family. A Special Thank You to Dr. S Malone, the staff in the ER at WRH- Met Campus and the staff at Oldcastle, Extendicare Tecumseh. 

Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road E, 519-253-7234. A Private Family service has taken place. Burial at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In memory of Michael, donations may be made to Street Help.
