Obituary of Roman Makara

Its with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather Roman Makara.

Born in Poland on June 1, 1936 he emigrated to Canada late in life to be with his children.

Loving father to Andrzej, Anna, Eva, and Wojciech. He was married to Stanislawa for 60 years. Proud grandfather to Pawel, Anna, Karolina, Szymon and Klara.

Roman lost his battle with cancer on January 30, 2022.

To honor Roman, prayers will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234, and a funeral mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church with burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
