DESCHAMPS, (Nee Carpenter) Margurite "Marg"

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Marg, our beloved Mother, Nana, Sister, Aunt and Friend on January 25, 2022 at the age of 78. Reunited with her beloved husband Del Deschamps with whom she celebrated 50 years of blessed marriage. Loving and devoted mother to Mary Thomas (Mike) and Pam Mosey (Frank). Cherished Nana to Mark Dupuis, Allyson Thomas (Dean), Payton Mosey (Adrian), and Parker Mosey. Dear sister to late Elizabeth and Bob Backhouse, Clara McDonald and late husband Ken. Odessa Wood and husband Don, late Scott Carpenter and surviving wife Janet, late Allan and Diane Carpenter. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special heart felt thank-you to nephew, Teddy Backhouse, for always being supportive to aunt Margie. Also, sincere thanks to Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, doctor Jacob and the nursing staff of the 5th floor for their exceptional and compassionate care provided. Margurite will always be remembered for being a loving Mother and Nana and demonstrating her unconditional heart of love to her family. Visiting at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East (519) 253-7234 on Friday, January 28th, 2022 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, January 29th , 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Margurite, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Diabetes Canada.
