Obituary of Santa Zannese

ZANNESE, Santa Adelaide (Flumian)

Born in 1925, passed away peacefully, 96 years young at Banwell Gardens. Loving Wife of the late Luigi. Beloved Mother of Giuseppe “Joe” (Lisa Senay) and Mary (Claude) Begin. Dear Nona of Michael, Nathalie, Kevin, Larissa, and Victoria. Born in Pasiano, Italy, the daughter of the late Vittorio and Virginia. Santa, the last of 8 children, is now rejoined with her siblings and parents. Santa is Survived by her sister-in-law Tersilla (late Giovanni), Annie (late Angelo), Antonietta (late Egisto) and Maria. Santa was the proud Aunt of many nieces and nephews. A Special Thank You to Rick and Josie, for all your Visits.

Santa was a member of the St. Angela Merici Church Choir and Regis Club. Santa worked at Hotel Dieu Hospital and Windsor Catering (former Cleary Auditorium and Convention Centre) until she retired. Santa was very active in her lifetime, she loved gardening, sewing, knitting, day tripping, and snap chatting with her grandchildren. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her late spouse, children, and grandchildren. Santa spent her final years at Chartwell Oak Park, where she had the time of her life. We will be forever grateful to all the staff!

A Special thank you to all the staff and care givers at LHIN (CCAC) and Banwell Gardens for their care and compassion shown to her in her final days.
