DESCHAMPS, Eugene "Gene"

83 years on January 19, 2022. Beloved husband of 57 years to Joyce (nee Hughes). Proud father of Joel (Brenda), Julie Renaud (Chris), and Debbie Beneteau (Brian). Dear son of the late Marcel and Marion (nee Soulliere). Very proud and loving Pepe to Meagan (Steve), Dawson, Dakota, Katelyn and Luc. Dear brother of Joanne (late George), Doreen (late Carl), Michael (Sheila), Colette (late Roger), Tom (Sandy) and Margaret-Ann. Many nieces and nephews. Gene was a proud retiree of the Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing and could build anything out of wood. Gene spent his early years grooming horses in Kentucky and Louisiana.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the Chapel at 6:30 p.m. Cremation and interment to take place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Reservations and masks are required to attend the visitation and funeral service.
