Obituary of Lisa Anne Richmond
RICHMOND, Lisa Anne (nee Wade)
October 1, 1958-January 21,2020
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after her five year long battle with Primary Progressive Aphasia, secondary to her dementia. Beloved daughter of Frank Wade and Burdette Wade (2018), and dear daughter in-law of Gerald (2014) and Lorraine Richmond. Loving wife and soulmate of Gerry for 44 years and together they had four beautiful daughters, Tiffani, Chantelle, Alyssa Butler (Marcus) and Brittany McAuley (Ty). Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren. Nurturing and devoted sister to Bruce (Kim), Doug (Jodi), and Shelley Shanahan (Chris). Dear sister in-law of Cathy Fioret (Dean), Theresa Jewell, Vicki Coleman and Anthony Richmond. She is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Lisa attended Vincent Massey Secondary School and then continued to St. Clair College, where she studied Office Administration. She started her career at McTague Law Firm until 1985 when she became a stay at home mom for the next 14 years. After that she re-entered the workforce and finished her career as an Executive Administrator to the Vice President of the Sales and Marketing World Wide at Schukra of North America until 2014, it was there that Lisa made many friends. If you ever asked Lisa what made her happy, she would always answer her family. She lived for her four daughters and her grandchildren. It was her wish to spend her final time with her loved ones and she completed her journey in the arms of her family. A special thank you to friends and family for food, support and prayers during Lisa’s end of life care at home. A special thank you to Ann PSW with Paramed for your care, compassion and support. To Dr. Kristen Kupeyan, we wouldn’t have been able to do this without you and we will be forever grateful for the love you have shown our family, especially our mother over the past five years.
