Obituary of Nick Natyshak
NATYSHAK, Nick
September 3, 1953- December 11, 2021
It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved father Nick Natyshak, who passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 11th, at the age of 68. Loving Son and best friend to Moe and his biggest fan, late Jean. Son in law to the late Gerald and Wilhelmine Jean.
Nick was a loving and devoted husband of 46 years to the love of his life, DiAnne (nee Jean). Adoring father to Jeff and wife Stephanie. In his passing he is reunited with his beloved late son Maury in one more heavenly hockey game. Loving grandpa to late Chase and Grace MacDonald. Revered and loved brother in-law of Mike and Kelly Jean, Ray Jean, late Dennis Jean and Diane Jean-Lexner. Special uncle to Jackson, Nathan, Travis, Julia, Cassie, and Alex. Godfather to Paula Natyshak, Ericka James, and Alex Lemire. Forever missed by his furry companion Sammy. Beloved by so many extended family members makes it impossible to name them all.
Nick was a dedicated employee, colleague, and friend to many at Sears/B&N for over 35yrs. Nick was not only the proud captain of the Windsor Spitfires, but the leader of the Natyshak clan. As the first-born grandchild and namesake of Nick (late) and Maria (late) Natyshak; our captain carried the family name with pride and honour. An avid athlete and sports fan, Nick could always be found playing, coaching, or cheering local athletes at a rink or ball diamond in his home community of Riverside. Nick was the respected elder at every Lions/Tigers C ool bus tailgate party. A father figure to many of Moe and Jeff’s friends, Nick was trusted, respected and loved by so many. His passion for sports was only outweighed by his love of family. Hosting loves ones and creating memories with special neighbours out at the lake filled his heart with joy.
He will be missed by so many, but the memories of his spirit will live on with every sunset over Lake StClair. We miss and love you our captain.
