Dear Bruno and family,
I am so sad to hear of your wife, mother and nonna's passing. Carol was such a dynamic spirit, I remember her from Tavolieri gatherings. I particularly remember one event when Carol and I went to Ottawa in the summer of 1985.Her wisdom and positivity was a gift; it speaks to her character and ambition. Carol was very much about life long learning. I am saddened by your loss and think of you at this time.
Blessings,
Lucia Santamaria

Bruno and family, my deepest condolences on the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. I worked with Carolyn for more than 20 and most of that time she was my supervisor. She was tough but fair and she always wanted to help others. She always encouraged me to strive for higher goals. Carolyn's true love was her family; she always talked to me about her family. I can tell Carolyn was so proud of all of you. She will be missed greatly. Rest in Peace my friend.

So sad and shocked to hear about Carolyn's sudden passing. I first met Carolyn at CRA in 1998 when we were both Large File Section Managers. Despite being in separate offices (me in London and her in Windsor), we became good friends on many train rides to and from Toronto. She catching the very early 4:30 am train out of Windsor and me the later 6:30 am out of London. We shared many great conversations about our work at CRA, life and families. We worked closely together on many Large File programs issues until our mutual retirements. Carolyn was a dedicated and passionate professional and a leader within our group. I will remember fondly the many great conversations and laughs we shared. My sincere condolences to all of you.

Carolyn was such a strong, smart, and highly driven woman. She was such a great role model to all women at our work. She put that same drive and ambition into her retirement as well. She was always planning something and staying active and spending time with her family and friends. She had to be busy!! Whenever we would get together- her favourite topic was her grandchildren and how much she enjoyed spending time with them. She was a very special woman and I am sending my deepest sympathies to her beloved family. Jennifer Schiller

My deepest condolences to you Bruno and your family. I will miss my friend of 45 years.
She had a steadiness to those who needed it, lent an ear to those needed to be heard and championed all in her circle. She spoke lovingly of her family. I will miss our golf outings and wine outings. Most of all I will miss being able to reach out to shoot the breeze. Rest in peace Carolyn.

Bruno, Melissa, Christina, and your families, please accept my deepest sympathies on your enormous loss. I will miss her tremendously. She was a wonderful friend, an excellent cook who seasoned all of her culinary treats with love, a great golfer and her love for friends & family shone through everything she did. She approached everything she accomplished with fierce intelligence, determination and a wicked sense of humour. She was a mentor for so many of us at CRA, and could always be counted on to be in your corner. She will be so very much missed by so many people from all walks of life. My deepest sympathies.

Dear Bruno and family: My deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved Carolyn. I was privileged to know her through our work at the Canada Revenue Agency (I was actually on the board that hired her). Carolyn was a stellar employee, and even more stellar person. I also have many great memories of fun times shared with her at golf tournaments, bowling events, and work Christmas parties. Gone too soon; she will be greatly missed.
