TROJANŠEK, Anton

With loving and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather at London University Hospital on November 14, 2021, at the age of 83. Born in Mengeš, Slovenia on January 6,1938 to the late Alojz and Marija (nee Cebasek) Trojanšek. Beloved husband to Jožica for 55 beautiful years. Cherished father to Joanne, Darlene (Chris Montgomery), Tony, and John. Adored Grandfather to his precious grandchildren, Diana and Corrine Trojanšek, Mackenzie Mallen, and, Liam, Jane, and Aidan Montgomery. Devoted brother to Stefan (Slovenia) and sister Tončka (Slovenia) and their families. Predeceased by brothers Vinko (Windsor), Jože, and France (Slovenia). Cherished brother-in-law to Nevenka Trojanšek, Milka (Stefan) Cafuta, Cvetka (Louie) Kočjančic, Mike (Slavka) Mikolič, and Tony (Maria) Mikolič. Godfather to Gloria Mikolič DeMita. Loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews in Ontario and Slovenia. With many relatives in Niagara Falls and the Toronto area. Anton was devoted to his family, an avid gardener, and passionate about his ever-expanding vegetable patch. He was a member of Slovenian Cultural Club Zvon, a Master Mechanic, and worked at Windsor Salt Mine until his retirement. He will be truly missed by the many family and friends he’s left behind. He always valued hard work and honesty and inspired those around him. Thank you to the caring ICU staff of London University Hospital and the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital.
