Most sincere condolences and our prayers to the entire family. I'll never forget and am deeply appreciative of Maggie's prompt text informing me of Mike's passing. Having Crohn's, Mike suffered many years. Through it all, he always maintained a great sense of humour. Mike was always a good friend to me. I believe, I was blessed by God for knowing Mike. I did't know about Mike being "mayor" in the neighbourhood. Mike was a sensible person, probably would do more for constituents than a lot of mayors. He'd get my vote. Maggie, Genevieve and Rocky you guys will always be like family to me. Mary and I are truly sorry about Mike's passing. God Bless.

During my teens I spent lots of time at the Boyer house .. Maggie and Mike took me in no questions asked.. countless dinners and good times .. Mike would make me cry laughing all the time so much Geneviève would say "Sarah stop it your encouraging him " all making me laugh more ... he was real fun to hang out with super easy going .. I always remember that about him .. im so sorry for the family .. it was such a pleasure to have spent time with him ..

Mike was a great man kind gentle lovable and a hard worker.He would have a song to sing to you everytime. And would remember you if he hadn,t seen you in awhile. I've known this wonderful man for over half my life. So kind and gentle. Never seemed stressed out or too busy to give you his time no matter what he was doing. Through running a business or dealing with his health, he was still very positive and calm to be around. But my favorite thing about Mike that I will always remember is his sense of humour. I’ve never met someone as comfortable in their own skin as Mike Boyer. He was his own boss at every step - from personal to professional - and fully embraced life. Mike was my second father (by choice) growing up. His guidance, from a young age, shaped the person that I am today and I am forever grateful. The husband that he was to Maggie taught me about relationships and how to keep mine healthy. He was a good dad to his girls, honest and caring yet also free spirited and inspired us to dream. Despite his lifelong health battles, he remained stoic and taught us to be brave. He knew what truly mattered - living life to the fullest because we are blessed. Jiffy Delivery Service was well beyond its time, and is now seems commonplace with our reliance on FedEx and Amazon, However, Mike was at the forefront of this systems change and valued the importance of efficiency and service. Mike, the visionary, has graduated to the next chapter. For those of us who he left behind on earth, his spirit will live on and keep pushing us to dream. Christine Campeau
