Obituary of Michelina Pannitto

PANNITTO, Michelina  

Nee Di Ninno 

September 29th, 1935-October 14th, 2021 

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on October 14th, 2021 at the age of 86. Reunited with her loving husband Domenico Pannitto (2015), whom she shared 58 years of marriage with. Cherished mother of Angela Lukis (Ed), the late Giuseppe Pannitto (1959), Carmela Carlini (John), Paola Francis (Steve), Joe Pannitto (Sharon), and Lisa Mounteer (Don). Loving Nonna of Robert, Anna (Ryan), Ryan, Catharine, Emma, Nicholas, Julia, Simon, and Andrew. Caring Bisnonna of Sophie. Michelina will be missed by many extended family in Italy, and friends in Canada.  

Michelina loved life and was devoted to her family. She was a very caring Nonna and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered for her passion of cooking, and was always known for hosting her family dinners. She was a hard working individual, retired from Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. A heart felt thank you to all her care givers at Seasons Belle River, and the Villages of St. Clair (Colchester Neighbourhood) for their excellent care.  

Visitation at Windsor Chapel (SOUTH CHAPEL) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Monday October 18th, 2021 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday October 19th, 2021 at Our Lady Mount Carmel Church (4401 Mt Royal DR) at 11am. Masks are required at the visitation and funeral mass. Reservations are required to attend Funeral Mass. Please call Windsor Chapel between the hours of 8:00- 4pm to book your reservation for the Funeral Mass. Donations may be made in appreciation to the In Honour of One’s We Love or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Windsor. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with his family at www.windsorchapel.com.
