Obituary of Ram Mohan Sharda

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sh. Ram Mohan Sharda peacefully on Thursday, October 7, 2021 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Arvind (nee Gautama), cherished father of Anusuya (Abhinav Prashar), Yogesh Sharda (Lisa) and Dr. Divya (Dr. Sameer Sharma). Proud grandfather of Nina, Aryan, Laila (Sharda), Ananya, Armaan (Prashar), Diya, Krisha and Arjun (Sharma).  

Predeceased by his parents Amarnath and Karam Devi Sharda, his father-in-law Tansukh Rai Gautama and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by his brothers Raghuvansh Rai, Balram Rai, Madan Mohan Rai & nephew Kaushal Rai (Sharda), his sister Sudarshan Bhakri, mother-in-law Shakuntla Gautama and brother-in-law Parveen Gautama (Rama). He will be deeply missed by all Sharda and Gautama families and friends from all over the world.  

Ram Mohan retired from General Motors after 35 years of service. He was well travelled, he loved gardening, reading and devoted time to helping others in the community. He was very caring, selfless, and a devoted husband & father.  

Visitation at Windsor Chapel (SOUTH CHAPEL) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 4-8pm. A private service will take place with immediate family with cremation to follow. Masks are required at the funeral home. Donations may be made in appreciation to the Hindu Temple and Cultural Center.
