FALSETTA, Oreste

May 30, 1930 – October 11, 2021 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Oreste Falsetta on Monday, October 11, 2021. Beloved husband of 65 years to Santina (nee Mandarino). Cherished father of Silvia (Robert Ferrarini), Sergio and Randy. He will be deeply missed by his brother-in-law Florindo Mandarino (Domenica). Predeceased by his mother Maria Falsetta and his brothers in Italy Vincenzo (Esterina) and Silvio. Also predeceased by his Father-in-law Antonio & Mother-in-law Carolina Mandarino, and brother-in-law Michele Mandarino; and sister-in-law Elvira & Michele Burza. He will always be remembered by his family and many friends in Canada and Italy. In life, he cherished his family immensely. He will always be remembered for the passionate care of his garden, sharing countless treasured memories of his homeland, and the enjoyment of spending time with family and friends. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (BANWELL CHAPEL) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Parish prayers at 7:30pm. Family and friends will be received at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) on Friday, October 15, 2021 for the Funeral Mass at 11am. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Masks are required to be worn at the Funeral Home, Church and Cemetery at all times. Reservations are required to attend the funeral mass only.
