Obituary of Gilbert "Joe" Malette

Passed away peacefully on October 9, 2021 at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of Alice Teresa Malette (nee Latwaitis).

Beloved father of Lisa Elliott and husband Bill, Michel Malette and wife Kim, Denise Lougheed and husband Denis and their late daughter Christine. Loving Papa to Michael, Ryan and Allison (Kris) Elliott and Samantha Ellens (Kirkland). Loving great Papa to Desmond, Molly, and Claire.

Joe was born in Wendover, Ontario to the late Albert and Eugenie Malette.

Predeceased by his siblings Jean (late Shirley), Pete (Janet), Odette (late Jerry), Claude (Rosaline) and survived by Reggie (Gerry), Denis, Gess (Paul), and Bernard (Michelle).

Joe will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 10:00am until 12:00pm. A private family service will take place. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
