GEREIGE, Mounira (nee Raffoul) 

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of a loving Mother, and Sitou on September 2, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family. Reunited with her beloved husband Sarkis. Loving and devoted mother to George (Norma), Antoine (Jodi), late Michel and surviving wife Sharifa, Hanne Amine (Pierre), Charbel (Giselle), Youssef (Tracey), Rima (Rob), Fouad (Melissa). Cherished grandmother "Sitou" to 19 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Survived by her sisters Kowkab (Peter), Terase (late Bakous), Tamem (late Khalil), and brother Youssef (Amera). Predeceased by sisters Antoinette, Adele, Marie and brother Bakous. Also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Lebanon, Venezuela, U.S.A. and Australia. Mounira was a very devoted and faithful Catholic and her greatest pride and joy in life was her family.

Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234, on Friday, September 3, 2021, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 8 p.m. A private family Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at St. Charbel Maronite Church, followed by a private family entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
