Grandbois Sr., Charles Edward

December 27, 1943- August 23, 2021

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Charles on August 23, 2021 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Diana (Renaud) sharing over 55 years of marriage. Cherished father of Michelle O'Neill (Jack), Charles Jr. (Robin) and Edward. Loving Pipi of Colette, Bianca, Thomas, Nicole, Brock and Bryce. Reunited with his parents Charles and Mary Grandbois. Dear brother of Darlene Vankoughnett (the late Bill) and Tommy Grandbois (Helen). Sadly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and his loyal pets Chico and Bella. Charles worked at GM Trim until beginning a career at Windsor Fire, providing 34 years of dedicated service retiring as Captain. He loved listening and playing his guitar to old Rock and Roll, Doo Whop and especially Buddy Holly. Charles loved his model airplanes and cars, he was the proud owner of a 1949 Merc. He belonged to the Essex Scottish Regiment. Charles enjoyed playing baseball and hockey and most importantly watching his loving grandchildren play all of their sports and activities. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234 on Friday August 27, 2021 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm.
