Obituary of Allan Murray Wright

WRIGHT, Allan Murray 

June 12th, 1959- August 14th, 2021 

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband, father and friend, Allan.  He left behind his loving wife of 32 years, Timarie (Laforet), daughter Shelaine, and son Dave (Maria).  Allan was one of four children to loving parents Dawson and Geraldine, both pre-deceased, and the dear son-in-law of Leo and Eileen Laforet. He is survived by his sister Sheila Hartmann (Carlos), and is the brother of the late Warren, and the late Robert Wright. 

Allan had a deep love for his family.  He also valued his long-time relationships with his friends. Allan had a vast music collection from Rock to Bach, he enjoyed being outdoors, and often found time to read a book by a lake with his dog Maisie.  Allan’s favourite time of year was football season, when he could proudly boast about his Pittsburgh Steelers. 

We already miss your big smile, your bear hugs,  your love and concern for us. You will forever be cherished, loved, and in our hearts.   

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.windsorchapel.com
