Obituary of Ana Recnik

Passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years.  Loving wife of the late Ondrej Recnik for 64 years.  Beloved Mother of Ana (late Jan) Stano, and Ondrej Recnik. Adored Mamicka of Jessica, Jonathan, and Jaclyn Stano. Grandmother of Ondrej, Allan, Pavel, and Susie Recnik.

Predeceased by her parents Janko and Anna Benko.

Dear sister to Janko (Zuzana) Benko and Zuzana (late Andrej) Zahorec.

Aunt of the late Janko (Ana) Zahorec, Andrej (Anna) Zahorec, Janko (Zlatuska) Benko, Anna (late Mihal) Cipkar, and Zuzana (Ondrej) Kukavski.

Ana enjoyed spending her time gardening, baking and being around her adored grandchildren. She was a kind and peaceful soul and she will be dearly missed by many extended family members both in Canada and Yugoslavia.

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road E, 519-253-7234 on Thursday August 12, 2021 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-9:00pm with a prayer service at 8:00pm. Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Friday August 13, 2021 at 10:00am. Burial to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. Reservations are required to attend  the Funeral Service and Cemetery. Please call Windsor Chapel between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm to make your reservation for the Funeral Service and Cemetery.
