I have the fondest of memories visiting Brenda and Nick at their home during a trip to Windsor I made with Victor several years ago. Brenda was the kindest of souls and simply a truly wonderful person. I know her passing will leave a huge void and wish to pass on my sincerest condolences to the family I love dearly ... I sit here looking at the picture of my beautiful aunt BB and find it so hard to believe that she has passed. So many memories of fun times and laughter. When she was at a gathering, she made sure to connect with every person in the room. She truly wanted to know how you were doing. She was so proud of you and your beautiful families Glen and Darren. The pain and loss will be deep but know that her spirit will be surrounding you.
Uncle Nick, the two of you were such a strong couple. It was obvious to us all how much you loved and respected each other. Aunt Brenda could not have picked a better life partner. We are thinking of you during this challenging time and sending you strength, love, and compassion.
With love, Karen
Rest in peace, beautiful auntie BB.

My condolences to the Bersuk family.
I spent many evenings with Brenda in our card club. We laughed and giggled over dinner and cards. Those are special memories we have of Brenda. She loved her family. Family meant a lot to her.
As my birthday fell on the same day as her, we often called each other on August 10 to wish each other happy birthday.
So long my friend I will miss you and on Tuesday I will send my happy birthday wish up to heaven.

You were the best Mom a person could have. Your love for me was unconditional no matter what and even as an adult you always made sure you told me how much you loved me. You and Dad always set the perfect example of the importance of family and the importance of always being present in your children and grandchildren’s lives. You were there for every big and every small event in me, Emily and the kids life. Not out of obligation but out of love. In your last days the amount of people who came to see you from in town and from out of town is proof of wonderful a person you were and how much you were loved. But you were my Mom and my love for you cannot be put into words and I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life. It has been my privilege and honour to be your son. Rest In Peace Mom. Love you forever.

Brenda was an outstanding wife, mother and Nana to her grandchildren. Coming from a family of 13 children that lost our mother at a young age, family is always first . Nick and Brenda always welcomed her brothers and sisters and children into their home and we all shared such good visits together. Saying good bye to my sister just last week was bitter sweet, so grateful to be able to be there with her, but yet knowing it was our last time . Knowing how much Brenda was loved by Nicky and their sons and families will always comfort us in our grief. RIP dear sister.

Brenda always brought a smile to my face. She always had a beautiful smile and such a positive person. She joined our Red Roses of Windsor Red Had Chapter. I think she really enjoyed being a part of the chapter and I think it put a spark back into her life as she had gone thru some serious health issues and needed something more. I am so glad that we spent all that time together having fun and laughing. She will be missed by all who she touched in our chapter and beyond.. RIP dear friend. Love Marge, Bob and family

It is with unmeasurable sadness that we have lost our Auntie Beulah. As most know, if not for Brenda we would not have our Kyle. Born in Windsor and adopted at a very young age. We spent his first 6 weeks at Aunt Brenda's before returning to Nova Scotia. We were welcomed with open arms and treated like we were meant to be there like only Brenda and Nick could do. We were family and we knew it. I was thinking today how special our relationship was with Brenda and Nick only to realize everyone had a special relationship with them. They may have moved to Ontario but they were Capers at heart. No it wasn't a typo when I called her Auntie Beulah. When Kyle was about 4 and I talked to him about birth he said " Its ok Mom I know Auntie Beulah had me" He's called her Beulah ever since! Love you Brenda! You will be greatly missed
