Obituary of Giuseppe Tabacchino

TABACCHINO, Giuseppe 

April 4, 1934 – July 5, 2021 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Giuseppe on Monday, July 5, 2021. Beloved husband of Ida, together for 50 years.  Adored father of Vince (Marisa) and Mary. Cherished Nonno of Anthony, Sabrina, Kelly and Sara. Pre-deceased by his siblings and parents. He will be fondly missed by his children in Italy, Orfeo (Sabina) and Bianca-Maria (Pio) as well as his grandchildren. Survived by his sister-in-laws Maria (Federico pd.), Iolanda (Domenic). He will be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Giuseppe was a barber for over 40 years, with his start in Italy. He was very passionate about his trade. He really enjoyed the work he had and loved being around his family and especially his grandkids. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 2:00pm- 5:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Parish prayers at 4:30pm. Friends will be received for the Funeral Mass on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave, Windsor). Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Reservations and masks are required to attend the Funeral Mass and Cemetery. Please call Windsor Chapel between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm to secure a reservation.
