Obituary of Jovanka Miskovic
MISKOVIC, Jovanka
With broken hearts the family of Jovanka Miskovic announces her peaceful passing after suffering through a painful journey with ALS. Although this cruel illness stole so much from her, and deprived us all of many more cherished years together, it could never take away her strength, courage, and deep love and constant selfless devotion for her family. Beloved daughter of Nikola and Radmila. Adored wife of late Dragoljub (2014). Loving mother to Srdjan (Ivana) and Vladimir. Cherished sister of Verica (Janko). Proud Baka to Mia and Aleksandar. Beloved aunt to Ivan and Sandra (Zoran). Jovanka worked at AP Plasman for over 25 years where she made countless friends. Special thanks to the hardworking and compassionate staff of 2 South at Hotel Dieu Grace Extended Healthcare who made her feel cared for, and to Slavica who stayed by her side with us to the very end. Jovanka’s beautiful soul has now been released from the shackles of the disease to rest in perpetual peace and abiding love. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the ALS Society of Canada to benefit other suffering individuals and families. Jovanka’s immense love for her family and friends, which she lived and demonstrated every day, will continue to surround, protect and guide us, and bring solace and healing to our sorrowful hearts and minds.
