Dillon, Theresa (Nee Soulliere)

March 31, 1941- May 21, 2021

It is with grieving hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa Dillon at the age of 80, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Howard (2006) with whom she cherished 44 years of marriage. Amazing mom and best friend to Michele and much-loved mother-in-law to Frank Fratarcangeli. Adored and proud grandma to Matt (Candice) and Mark (Jordan). Dear sister-in-law of Charlene and George Abray of Atlanta, Georgia, Daniel and Elaine of Chatham, Margaret Anne and the late Jim Milliman of Carlsbad, California, William and Connie of Merlin, Vicki and the Late Robert of St.Joachim, Mary Catherine Collins of Victoria BC, Rosemary and Doug Millar of Grand Bend, Diane and Bill Colvin of Collingwood and the late Carl Dillon. She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She delighted in family gatherings for holidays, birthdays, reunions, and family dinners. She took great pride in being a member of the Belle River Good Neighbour Club and the Comber Catholic Women’s League. She enjoyed travelling, gardening, playing cards, and bingo. She was an avid hockey and baseball fan and was the #1 fan to her grandsons. She attended every game she could, and everyone at the rink or diamond knew who Gram was. She was kind hearted and full of energy, loved to laugh and enjoyed all of lifes pleasures.... especially her family.

Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd E. (519) 253.7234 on Thursday May 27th from 1pm-9pm and Friday May 28th from 1pm-9pm . Private funeral Mass to take place at St.Patrick’s Church (5773 10 Line, Merlin, ON) . Burial to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery (5781 10 Line, Merlin, Ontario) . Reservations and masks are required to attend Visitation. Please call Windsor Chapel (519) 253.7234 between the hours of 8:30am - 4:00pm to secure your reservation. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Patricks Church and Shrine (5773 10 Line, Merlin, ON, N0P 1W0) or the Good Neighbours Club (272 St. Paul St, Belle River ON, N0R 1A0) .
