Obituary of Paul Douglas Moody

Doug passed away suddenly on May 17 2021 at the age of 70. There are no words that can describe the absolute sadness of losing someone that was loved so much by many people. The most genuine and kind hearted man left us way too soon. Son of the late Paul and Veronica Moody. Loving father to Melissa Moody (Joshua Babcock) and Dawn Moody. Brother to Gloria Marion. Amazing Grandfather to Landyn Moody and Evan Babcock. Uncle to Chris, Greg, Beth, Joy, Lisa, Leslie, and Laurie. Doug grew up in Remington Park and played football for Kennedy Colligate. He worked at Rose Bowl Lanes as a pinsetter mechanic before he spent many years working at the Ford foundry. Doug was a very good friend to many people and was known for his generosity and kindness. He will be forever cherished by many.

No days will go by that your memory will ever be forgotten. You will always be in our hearts. Missing you is a feeling that will never go away. We Love you forever Dad.

A private family service will be held. A memorial service to be held at a later date. The family will notify loved ones in the future when the service is scheduled. If you wish, donations can be made to the Downtown Mission in memory of Doug.
