Obituary of Luigia Gina Cardillo

It is with grieving hearts that we announce the passing of Luigia (Gina) Cardillo at the age of 80 on May 15, 2021 with her two loving sons at her side. Beloved wife and soul mate to Lorenzo with whom she cherished 58 years of marriage. Loving mother to Gerry (Karen) and Ennio (Giulia). Beloved Nonna to Tina (Chris), Danielle (Chris), late Stephen (Amber), Lorenzo (Kaylee) and Vittoria (Adrien). Adored Bis-nonna to Christina, Peyton, Sydney, Brooke and Dakota. Dear sister to Angela (late Giovanni), late Anna (late Oreste) and late Marco (Christine). She delighted in family gatherings, for holidays, birthdays and family dinners. A proud founding member of the Ciociaro Club and its choir, Voce Ciociare along with dedication of her time with St. Angela Merici choir. She took great pride in a fulfilling career with I.O.D.E Hospital along with the devotion of her faith and love for her Italian tradition and culture will be her distinguished legacy.  

Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Ave., on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, from 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Reservations are required to attend the visitation, please call Windsor Chapel at 519-253-7234, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. to book your reservation. Funeral services beginning at 10:15am on Thursday, May 20, 2021 with procession to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave) for Funeral Mass at 11am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Catholic Cemetery.
