Obituary of Giovanni Monaco
MONACO, Giovanni
1946-2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Giovanni Monaco on April 15, 2021. Peacefully surrounded by his loving wife Diane and daughters Maria and Dina by his side at the age of 74 in St. Petersburg Florida. He is survived by his two daughters Maria (David) and Dina (Tom). Proud Nonno of Salvo, Massimo, Luca, Christian and Step- Nonno to Katelin and Michael. Reunited with his beloved brothers Sebastiano and Nino, and survived by his siblings Giuseppe, Rocco (Sicily) and Dina (Sicily). He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, family, friends and all who knew him. With over 50 years’ experience in Masonry, Giovanni was most proud working for Signature Contractors where he retired countless times and could never say no to another season of working with an exceptional management and crew. His passions included travelling, hunting and fishing; this is how he spent his retirement years in Florida. Giovanni’s greatest love in life was spending time with family and friends, all gathered around the table being spoiled by his delicious home cooked meals and a good glass of his homemade Vino. His traditions and legacy will be continued and we will find comfort by cherishing the memories of a life well lived.
Saluti to you Papa and Nonno
