Obituary of Paulo Tombura

TOMBURA, Paulo Khamis Seico

July 27, 1968 - April 15, 2021

Born in Wau, South Sudan, Paulo was the son of the late Khamis Tombura and Anzima “Umjuma” Ngbaranganza Badubaragi. He was the loving, eldest brother of 9 siblings, 5 of whom are predeceased and survived by Aliam, Grace, Lucia and Mariam. Paulo leaves behind his partner Ms. Halima Rejeb (Windsor, Ontario) and his 4 dear children, Clara, Khandon, Serine and Severeina.

He Studied Accounting at Sudan University of Science and Technology (Class of 1990), Maridi Secondary School in Khartoum, Sudan, Ranzi Intermediate School in Tombura, South Sudan, and Mamenze Primary School in Tombura, South Sudan.

Paulo was a Pastor who left the Republic of Sudan for Egypt where he was offered permanent resident status to reside in Canada in October of 2001. He settled in the city of Windsor, Ontario where he became a Canadian citizen until the time of his death. He was an outgoing and very sociable person who was loved by his South Sudanese Community members and his friends. He will be remembered as a devout Christian who devoted his time to preach the Gospel.
