FEDAK, Henry "Hank"
December 13, 1929 - April 19, 2021
Passed away peacefully at home with his devoted family by his side at the age of 91 years. Cherished husband and best friend of Bernice. Loving father of Sandra Fedak (Terry Hoople), Brian (Sharon) and Kimberly Newman (Zack). Beloved grandfather of Sebastian, Eva, Carly, Jesse and Rae. Predeceased by his parents John (1981) and Jean (1999). Dear brother of Annie Smith (Louie) , Joseph Fedak (Millie), George Fedak (Jeannette), and predeceased by Eva (1988)(Danny(1977)), Teddy (2009) (Margaret(2013) and Mike Fedak (2008)(Isabelle(1980)). He will be loving remembered by his nieces and nephews. Hank was a dedicated fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoyed both playing the game and watching his son, and later his grandson, play. He was a life-time bowler, who participated in a Saturday night league up until his 90th year on team Turkey Dance. He played lacrosse since a young boy and was on the Windsor Warlocks as a young man. Hank loved spending time with his family, particularly playing "Thirty-one". Many thanks to Dr. Dale Ziter, LHIN, ParaMed and Hospice for all their compassion and assistance. In lieu of flowers, donations to the WIndsor Humane Society are greatly appreciated as Hank loved animals, especially his dogs. Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E., 519-253-7234, on Saturday, April 24 from 10-12 p.m. with a private family funeral service to follow. Cremation to follow and an inurnment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. Reservations and masks are required to attend the visitation.
