It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Emilio on March 6, 2021 at 88 years of age. Loving husband of Amparo (nee Morales) with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Much loved father of Tony and wife Ada Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, Frank Ramirez and partner Taylor and Mary Legault. Cherished grandfather “Yayo” of Amanda and husband David Latkovskis, Sean Legault, Samantha Legault and fiancee Clark, Yanek Ramirez and Maya Ramirez. Great grandfather of Owen and Carter Latkovskis. Emilio is predeceased by his 4 brothers and survived by his sister Maria Xhayeteux. He will always be remembered by his son-in-law Richard Legault. Emilio retired from General Motors after many years of dedicated service. A special thank you to the staff at Heron Terrace for your care and compassion given to Emilio and his family during his stay. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Visitation will continue at Ste. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E.) on Thursday March 11, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am Cremation to follow. Reservations are required to attend the visitation and Funeral Mass. Please call 519-253-7234 between 8am and 4:30pm to make a reservation. Masks are required.
