GUSTIN, Ivan
It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ivan, a loving Husband, Father and Papa, on March 3, 2021 at the age of 77. Beloved husband to Danica (nee Baric) with whom he celebrated 46 years of blessed marriage. Loving and devoted father to Anita Etheridge and husband Brian of Waterloo, ON. Cherished and adored Papa to Kate and Ethan Etheridge. Dear brother to Barica Starcevic and husband Josip of St. Thomas, ON., Dragica Rodnic (late Frank) of London, ON., and Marica Rudman and husband Anton of Windsor, ON. Predeceased by parents, Ivan and Kata Gustin and siblings, Jana Pulez and Mirko Gustin. Ivan will be sadly missed by his canine grand-dog, Mickey. Ivan retired from Ford Motor Company after 37 years of dedicated service. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church,  Knights of Columbus (3rd Degree), Kardinal A. Stepinac Council 11774 and Unifor Local 200. Ivan was very proud of his family and their accomplishments, especially his grandchildren, daughter and son in-law, and his many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed spending time at the family cottage with family and friends, as well as enjoying the beauty of the outdoors in Northern Ontario. A heartfelt and sincere thank you to the staff at W.R.H., Metropolitan Campus (Palliative Care Unit) and The Village of Aspen Lake for their exceptional and compassionate care provided to Ivan and his family. Visitation at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519)253-7234 on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 6:00-9:00pm with Parish prayers at 7:30pm.  A private family Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. A private family interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. Masks are required to attend Visitation, Funeral Mass and Cemetery.  Reservations are required to attend visitation.
