Obituary of Donna Patricia Gunnell

December 4, 1932 - February 23, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Predeceased by husband Gordon of 62 years. Cherished mother to Linda Buller (Mark), Diana Reidpath (Abe) and Greg (Michelle). Beloved grandmother to Andy, Jim, Angela, Olivia and Vanessa. Great-grandmother of Kortney, Carter, Haylie, Dylan, Rylie, Hudson and Riley. Survived by brother Dave Kellington (Elva). Predeceased by parents Karl and Isabelle Kellington and sister Jane Kjarsgaard.
Patricia did bookkeeping for her dad at Kellington Wood Products before selling Beauty Counselor. She then went on to Secretary work at AV Graham Public School.
Mom's found great enjoyment in her traveling with dad throughout North America, Europe, Caribbean and multiple cruises. They had a vibrant social life and were known for their pool parties. She enjoyed a nice glass of wine and was a huge fan of Stephen King novels. Patricia was outgoing, spunky and feisty to those who know her.
Family would like to give thanks to Amy's Helping Hands for their care over the years and a special thanks to Kim and Silke. A special thanks also to all of the staff at Sun Parlor Home for their great care over the last four years.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 12 - 2 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow at Windsor Crematorium. Masks and reservations are required for the visitation and funeral service. Please call Windsor Chapel (519-253-7234) to make your reservation. A private family inurnment will take place at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Windsor and Essex County.
