Obituary of Cesidia De Santis

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend at home on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the age of 84. Cherished mother of Rocco Sr. pd. 2017 (Carla), Antionette (Roger Williams), and Loreta (Joe Hayes). Proud Nonna of Cynthia (Ron Cunningham), Rocco Jr. (Elizabeth), Phillip, Mary (Gary Strong), Bill, Michael, Amanda (Jeff), Stella (Geoff Rankin), and Matthew (Nicola). Loved Bisnonna to 8. Reunited with her husband Gino and son Rocco Sr. Survived by her sister and brother in Italy. She will be missed deeply and dearly by all who knew her. Nonna enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting and was deeply devoted to her faith – but most of all she enjoyed being surrounded by her family. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave, 519-253-7234. On Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 4-7pm. Parish prayers at 4:30pm. Funeral services will begin on Monday, December 16th, 2019 at 10:15am from the funeral home with procession to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave) for the Funeral Mass at 11am. Private Entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Cesidia to the MS Society of Canada or to the Humane Society of Windsor/Essex.
