Obituary of Shirley Lyons

Born February 20th, 1925 in Chatham, ON. It is with great sadness the Lyons family announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother on November 24, 2019. Predeceased by husband Fred Lyons (1963). Reunited with parents Leslie and Ida Belle Clements. Chosen daughter of Elizabeth and William “Pete” Jubenville and family of Prairie Siding, ON. Dear sister of June Clements, Geraldine “Ted” Thomson, Lorraine “Toots” Johnson, Hilda Ganon and brothers Randall “Chase” and Lloyd Jubenville. Loving mother of William “Bill” Lyons (Sue). Dear grandmother of Curtis (Maureen), William “Willy” (Melissa) and Samantha (Ronnie). Great grandmother of Justice, Laura, Amelia, Sophia, Henry and Emmett. Special sister of Don and Bruce Thomson and their families. The family would like to thank the staff on the 4th Floor at Met Hospital. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Thursday November 28, 2019 from 2-4pm and 5-7pm. Visitation will continue Friday November 29, 2019 from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11am in the Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E). Cremation to follow.
