Obituary of Giovanni Lepera

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son and brother on November 24, 2019, at the age of 58. John is survived by his devoted wife Josie (nee Mazza) of 29 years and his beloved daughters Katrina and Victoria. Dear son of Giovanni (1996) and Maria (2018). Cherished brother of Tony (Maria), Mena, Italo (Holly) and Lisa. Son-in-law of Gerlando (2008) and Onofria Mazza. Brother-in-law to Lea (Giovanni), Charlie and Cathy (Tony). John will be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and caregivers, from Windsor and London, for their care and compassion given to John and our family throughout his journey. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Tuesday November 26, 2019 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers Tuesday at 4pm. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 10:15am at the funeral home with procession to St. Anne’s Church (Tecumseh) for the Funeral Mass at 11 am. Cremation to follow as per John’s request. If so desired, donations to Community Living Windsor c/o 1017 St. Paul would be appreciated by the family.
