Obituary of Marianna Alfini

ALFINI, Marianna (nee Silvaggi) January 7, 1930 – November 22, 2019 Entered into eternity to join her husband, Giuseppe, of over 56 years. Born in Ceccano, Italy, Marianna immigrated with her family to Windsor in search of a better life for her children. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Giovanni and Celestina. Beloved mother of Maria Pascucci (Walter) and Tony Alfini (Sharon). Adored nonna of Teresa Spagnuolo (Mario), Luisa Pace (Tom), Marianne Pascucci, Renee Alfini, Jordan Alfini, and Jenna Alfini. Loving bisnonna of Alexander, Gianluca, Sophia and Adriano. Survived by brother Sergio Silvaggi (Greta). Predeceased by siblings Giovanna, Pasqualina “Sr. Beatrice”, Rino and Luigi. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Marianna was a skilled seamstress and an exceptional cook. Her strength and her devotion to her family will always be remembered. Her life was an example of hard work, determination, and resiliency. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (CENTRAL CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
