Obituary of Aniceta Sama
SAMA, Aniceta
In loving memory of Aniceta (Virgie) Sama who passed away peacefully November 13, 2019. Loving wife of Ali (Sam) for 43 years. Most caring mother to Yasin and his wife Rubina. Best Amma to her Palanga’s Zain and Kian. Beloved sister of Susan Yap-Galizio, Lena Delarmente, Cecilia Lim, Andres Yap and Luis Yap. Adored by her sister in law Zubeda Sama. Virgie was born in the Phillipines on September 19, 1943. She met Ali through her sister Susan and brother in law Bruno. Virgie was known to put her family first before anything else. She made sure everyone around her ate healthy and took their vitamins. Family was always well supplied with newspaper clippings about health articles. She was a beloved nurse at MET hospital and known for her kindness and warmth. Her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren. She taught us many lessons but above all, love and respect. A special thanks to the kind staff at MET hospital and to the most caring Dr. Jeff Nigel for helping her pass with dignity, respect and without pain. Everyone is invited for visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 11 am from Our Lady of Atonement (2940 Forest Glade Dr, Windsor) to Windsor Memorial Gardens for burial. If you so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory would be appreciated. Condolences and memories may be shared on her Tribute Wall at www.windsorchapel.com. We will dearly miss you everyday of our lives. You will forever be in our hearts ~ Ali, Yasin, Rubina, Zain and Kian.
