I worked with Evelyn at Scotiabank and thoroughly enjoyed sitting beside her and talking and joking at everything we did. I remember going with her and Janis to a Randy Travis concert over at Pine Knob and how mad she was at being asked for ID when she tried to buy a beer. The look on her face still makes me laugh today. I have so many good memories of Evelyn. She was a great lady. Rest in peace my friend. Janet Scott

Condolences to the family of a beautiful and generous person. I really enjoyed the time we saw Shania Twain in the states. I wasn't brave enough to drive over there but she was always game for anything. I know you will miss her but you sure have lots of special memories. Rest In Peace Evelyn

To Evelyn's family I want you to know that I thought Evelyn was such a wonderful woman. She had such a great sense of humour. I would just love to get her laughing because you wouldn't hear her, but her whole body would be jiggling. She had a body laugh. That would get me and anyone else near her laughing too. I gave her a nickname of Daisey, because she joked that she was a delicate flower and we needed to be extra careful with her. Just thinking about her now makes me smile. She told me, not too long ago that when she got out of this joint (meaning Riverside Place), she was going to go to Cosco for a hotdog and fries. We joked about how incredibly good Costco hotdogs are. I'm going to miss Daisy very much. She was a very special lady. It was obvious how special she was by the love her family showed her.
